Yo!

I’m sharing the current favourited of mine, products that are nice to me. I will not commit to a monthly favourites (yes, I have commitment issues), but you might encounter these kind of posts in the future.

Here’s a list of the products mentioned in the post (giving you a chance to stop reading if you’re not interested – WOW how nice I am):

  • L’oreal Elseve /Elvive/ Extraordinary Oil in cream

Let’s begin

L’oreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil In Cream

This is a creamy hair care product infused with 6 precious oils (argan, sunflower, coconut, chamomile, amla and soy oil). It’s supposed to provide intense nourishment to transform dry hair and make your hair weightlessly flowing, luxuriously soft and brilliantly shiny. Well it does some magic, but not all of them. I feel like it’s making my dry ends softer and believe me my hair is extremely dry. But probably the reason I love it so much is that it smells amazing. It’s not too perfumey but has a strong scent which is flowery and super long lasting. Honestly I use it more as a ‘hair perfume’ than for its moisturising effect.

I use it on the ends and the lower section of my hair after drying it (because the lovely smell stays longer) but if you need extra smoothness you can apply it to wet hair before blow drying. I think I found a long-term favourite, and definitely will repurchase!!

Tony & Guy Classic Gel Spray for Curls

I have curly hair

YES I’M BEYONCE!
no, not even close 😦 😦

But I know the struggle (of being beautiful and famous) of not being able to coordinate the things other call hair on your head. I am desperately trying to find the best product for my hair which I’m convinced is impossible, but this product seems to be okay. I’ll start with the thing I don’t like: it’s a gel spray and really hard to spread on your hair using the actual dispenser. Because of its heavy consistency it won’t actually spray, it will put the product at one place which is not cool because it will harden and leave your hair very uncool. Also it doesn’t have much of a moisturising effect but I learnt not to complain with a hair like this. Other than that, the product is all fine, enhancing the curls, doesn’t weight down my hair and keeps the curls bouncy which is good enough for me. I’m using it for years now, but I would switch to another product if I could get the same result with a bit more hydration.

Garnier Miracle Cream

Now this is actual magic!! I love this product!! Instead of just creating a tinted moisturiser  and simply calling it that, they named the product Miracle Cream, and put science in a bottle (and we all know science rulezzz). I also love the fact that it is claimed to be self adjusting to your skin colour. HAHAHA

Seriously, what is that? It’s a really low coverage everyday tinted moisturizer cream. It also has anti-ageing care with instant results (???). An innovative self adjustment formula protected by 9 patents combines the power of advanced optical correction with excellent skincare performance. It also contains SPF 20 and acts to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and age spots. The result should be flawless looking skin. And you know what?? It does leave you with an awakened, glowing skin.

I saw many terrible reviews on youtube where it turned out yellow/orange on people’s skin, so I was a bit concerned, but the fact that it comes out white from the packaging and then turns itself to the colour of your skin convinced me! (also, I tried it on my hand in the drugstore and it really worked)

It really did! I made super cool pictures to show how it transforms, and you can actually see the tiny balls that contains the actual colour.

Sorry for including these enormous pictures, but this way your eyeballs can see where the magic happens!

So if you don’t have any major skin problem to hide, this is really the perfect product. It has light/low coverage but makes your skin look super healthy and glowing. If you have oily skin then powder is essential because it shines through easily, but right now this is the only thing I apply to my face on a daily basis.

Avon Cocoa Butter Rich Cream

Now, I don’t have much to say about this. It smells AMAZING, leaves my skin super hydrated, smooth and extra moisturised. Can be used on face, hands and body. Because my skin is really super oily I was a bit afraid to apply it to my face but worry not, it’s all fine and cool.

I just simply love this product, but I think all the other rich creams on the market do kind of the same job. So I will not buy it again because I like trying new products, but if you’re hesitating right now whether or not to buy it, then say YES!!

Nivea Regenerating Night Cream

This is my holy grail night cream. Especially after a night out. Whenever alcohol is involved, my oily skin transforms into a super dry layer on my face so I really need extra hydration. This is quite a heavy cream, but in the morning it has no trace of being there at all, and my skin is all pampered.

And of course it has the usual super awesome nivea smell!!!!

Maybelline Color Tatto

I’m a massive fan of the colour tattoos!!!!44!4!! Because I’m working in a super busy environment I have no time to fix/redo my makeup

Finding Maybelline’s colour tattoo line was a life saver for me. I basically use the shade 35 /on and on bronze/ every single day. I could not imagine my makeup life without it (not that I have one) and I can proudly confirm that it stays on for at least 12 hours (long day at the office).

I repurchased it many many times, and I am ready to do so in the future! It’s super pigmented, really easy to work with (it can even be used as a base for eyeshadow) and incredibly long lasting. I don’t really know about the other shades, I’m not planning on trying other colours just yet because I usually go for a nude natural look.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss 107

I don’t think I need to say much about this product, everybody knows and loves it. This lipstick is the perfect matte deep red (wine).

12696650_1066489880040648_1767469570_o-2

It’s fairly long-lasting, the colour is classy (suits pretty much everyone) and the best of all, despite being matte, it’s not drying at all.
