Yo!
I decided not to write anything today because I’m preparing for an interview for tomorrow so I’m reading US GAAP which is not much of an inspiration (unless you’re an accountant wondering about how to recognise revenue). BUT then after reading and reading and reading and reading and thinking about possible believable lies I could say on the interview I felt a bit down, so I opened my folder with all the photos (completely unorganised) and let myself sink in the sweet warm ocean of nostalgia.
I’d like to talk to you about my happy place. The physical actual happy place (not the one in your mind – that’s great too, we should talk about that too), the one that exist. The place you can never get out of your mind and whenever there’s an opportunity to travel you want to go there. You smile when you think about it, you love talking about it, and you constantly want to persuade every single living human being to visit that place because it’s AWESOME!!! A perfectly sharp picture exists in your mind, you probably see it now that you’re reading this, and you are happy!
This is Portugal to me. Portugal is my happy place! If you want me to be more specific, I mean Algarve (a region in the south of Portugal) and also Porto (I’m planning to dedicate a whole separate post to that incredibly wonderful city).
I’ll insert a few of my photos here, not edited, no filter, because I love them the way they are!!
So if I was about to take you to my happy place, I’d take you to this exact spot:
I’m sure you don’t feel the same way I do, but that’s okay, I don’t care because I’m happy! I’m happy because there’s the ocean, (I can’t live without water near me,let that be any kind of water, I’m kind of happy even if it rains), amazingly hot weather and sunshine throughout almost the whole year and incredible, breathtaking scenery.
If you want me to write a more informative post about these STUNNING places (or accounting principles) leave a comment, or message.
Also, here’s Porto, to get you excited about an upcoming post about it. I’ve got a super special connection with this city, I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again (see what I did there?).
Leave a comment about your happy place, I’d love you to share it with me! Because it will probably make you happy just thinking about it! You can post your favourite holiday spots on my Facebook wall!! I love looking at travel photos (who doesn’t)

(also like Serendipityd on Facebook, because more cool motivational suff are coming.. no pressure)
Hahahahaha I loved your post you know why? Because I am from PORTO!! I’m currently living in Lisbon.
You made me feel happy and missing my city at the same time. Best wishes, x
